Outreach

I care deeply about ensuring astrophysics is accessible — everyone should have the opportunity to engage with and benefit from science!

To that end, since 2023, I have led public observing nights hosted by the department, guiding visitors through telescope observations and helping to explain astronomical phenomena in an approachable way. Additionally, I enjoy giving public talks; my favorite events so far have been at the Trenton branch of Astronomy on Tap, and a planetarium lecture I gave at the New Jersey state museum in Trenton.

As an undergrad, I also participated in the Splash at Berkeley event in the Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters, co-teaching classes (with my friend Nishant Mishra) to local high school students on the astrophysics of dark matter.
